D+H service is firmly committed to privacy and security of a users personal information and has established processes and procedures that protect the users information from unauthorized access. The D+H service employs a combination of industry-approved security technologies, featuring password-controlled system entry, and a 128 bit industry strength Digital ID for the application server, industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol for data encryption, and a security firewall between the router and the application server, which regulates the inflow and outflow of communications traffic.

Security and Privacy Policy

SECURE DATA ACCESS AND VERIFYING USER AUTHENTICITY

To use the service, you must enter your User ID and your password. Upon successful login, the system authenticates your identity and establishes a secure communication between your computer and the D+H server. Technically, this is known as a server session. The service uses digital identification certificates.

Our system uses a "3 strikes and you're out" lockout mechanism, which prevents repeated login attempts. After three unsuccessful login attempts, the system locks the user out. Once a lockout occurs, a communication (either by email or phone) between the user and D+H is required to verify the user's identity before re-entry into the system is allowed.

SECURE DATA TRANSFER

Once the server session is established, your computer and our application server are in a secure communications environment. The D+H server has been certified as a 128-bit secure server and the data traveling between us is encrypted with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. All customer data, including the D+H and third party usernames and passwords, and all of the third party customer information is always transmitted in encrypted format. With SSL, this encrypted data can only be decrypted with the public and private key pair. In short, the server issues a public key to the end user's browser and creates a temporary private key. These two keys are the only combination possible for that session. When the session is complete, the keys expire and the whole process starts over when a new end user makes a server session.

ROUTER AND FIREWALL

User initiated information requests are received by the D+H router(s), a piece of hardware that directs traffic to the appropriate server. The information is then filtered by a firewall (a piece of hardware and software) to identify and then either block or direct traffic coming to the server. The configuration begins by disallowing ALL traffic and then opens gates only when necessary to process acceptable information requests.

SECURE DATA STORAGE

User data is stored in secure database. Not only the user password but also the user personal data is encrypted when stored in our database. This protects user information from any unauthorized access to their information. Only user with correct ID and password can access this information.
